Our teachers sing, dance and have fun with the children, while managing the group so that it is safe for everyone.
Our teachers are provided with the programme, a plan for each class, lesson CDs and equipment.
Mini Maestros conducts comprehensive training courses for its teachers. Training covers the Mini Maestros philosophy and teaching methodology, each term's programme and class administration.
Our teachers need to have a car, must have a strong, tuneful singing voice and preferably play guitar. All our teachers have "Working With Children" checks.
You need to enjoy working with children 6 months - 4 years.
The business
The Mini Maestros head office is based at 579 Lygon St North Carlton. We are a small business but there are opportunities for individuals who want to be part of an exciting enterprise that is expanding. Over 6000 children a week attend Mini Maestros classes in private groups, at créches and kindergartens.
Requirements
We prefer our teachers to have some kind of qualification in early childhood studies and/or a music degree. However we are happy to consider all applications. We are looking for people who feel they have the following qualities:
