Mini Maestros franchise opportunities
Owning a Mini Maestros Franchise is a great opportunity for individuals to run their own business in their local area. There are currently fourteen franchisees operating in and around Melbourne servicing both private groups and childcare centres.
Classes are usually run in the morning, leaving the afternoon for administrative tasks. Franchisees have the full support from our dedicated team at Head Office however they are encouraged to put forward their own ideas at regular franchisee meetings.
The business
The Mini Maestros business is now well established in Melbourne. We have an office and studio at 579 Lygon St North Carlton. We are a small business but there are opportunities for individuals who want to be part of an exciting enterprise that is expanding. The business was franchised in 1997
Head office
We have 3 full time staff members and 15 part-time staff who look after our Company Centre operation as teachers and as part of our administrative support team.
Requirements
We prefer our teachers to have some kind of qualification in early childhood studies and a music degree. However we are happy to consider all applications. We are looking for people who feel they have the following qualities:

- A willingness to develop a strong business which is economically viable
Teacher training
The Mini Maestros Teacher Training Course is for anyone who wants to improve their skills in working with music and young children. You do not have to become a Mini Maestros teacher after completing the course and we cannot guarantee that you will receive employment with Mini Maestros. However we hope that we can provide employment to all of our Prospective graduates. All franchisees must complete the teaching course before they commence work with Mini Maestros.
Training will take place in Carlton
Duration 6 weeks X 2 hours per week or weekend sessions

Business training
After successfully completing the Teacher's Course all MM teaching staff must complete the training for each Programme Module before commencing teaching of that Programme module.
Programme Module training is 6 hours for each Module
A new franchisee is provided with an Operations Manual, which introduces all of the business systems, which have been developed and help make the MM franchise system a successful business.
Training in the use of the MM Operations Manual is introduced in 12 hour of workshops which can be delivered over 6 weeks or over a weekend.
Franchise territory sales
West Brunswick & Moonee Ponds
Established business operating five days a week with good returns.
The following businesses are running as Company Centres but are available for purchase
- Hawthorn / Canterbury - currently operating Monday to Friday but not Wednesday.
- Kew - operating Monday - Wednesday
- South Melbourne operating Thursday
- North Essendon operating Friday
- Malvern East operating Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Prahran operating Wednesday and Friday
All Head Office Centres have been established for more than 2 years. There are detailed Customer Lists for all Centres and an obvious need for an expansion of the provision of the classes.
New Territories identified as having commercial potential are Melton / Caroline Springs area, Werribee and Geelong.
