Kate Phillips commenced teaching for Mini Maestros in 2009. Kate has extensive experience in primary teaching and music education. She has worked as a professional singer and guitarist, and has been involved in many harmony groups, stage productions, choirs and madrigal groups. Prior to teaching with Mini Maestros, Kate worked as a primary school chaplain, which was a role that enabled her to contribute story-telling, puppetry and music to her school community. Attending Mini Maestros classes with her three children inspired Kate to become a Mini Maestros teacher.
Here is a recent testimonial from one of Kate’s customers:
“I have been attending Mini Maestros sessions in Rowville with Kate for 5 years. First with my son and now with my daughter. We love it! Kate is professional and fun and caring with the children (and parents). The educational benefits I have seen in both my children are fantastic – social skills, independence skills, musical literacy, performance skills, gross motor and fine motor skills, the list goes on. Thank you Kate for your hard work and dedication.”
