One of our newest franchisees, Robyn Stewardson, sent in this great article which looks further into how experiencing music and being rocked affects the developing brain.
A new study by scientists at the University of Washington's Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences (I-LABS) shows that a series of play sessions with music improved 9-month-old babies' brain processing of both music and new speech sounds.

Brother and sisterly love during the first week of classes in Pakenham in Bec Healy's class. This photo is of Alicia and her little brother Max. Mel Gemmell, Alicia and Max's mum, had some great things to say about their Mini Maestros experience. “My two youngest have just started their second year and absolutely love it! They look forward to it every week. I love watching them learning and singing new songs as well as playing with new instruments. Love our Fridays!”
