Kylie Rendle is a very experienced, caring and passionate teacher who commenced her career with Mini Maestros in 1997. She has successfully operated Mini Maestros in a number of suburbs around Melbourne and started Mini Maestros on the Mornington Peninsula in the year 2000.
Kylie graduated from the Melba Conservatorium of Music in 1998, majoring in Flute. She has completed her Level 1 Orff as well as many other professional development workshops. In addition to teaching Mini Maestros, Kylie teaches flute and guitar and sings with the Bel Canto Choir and a small ensemble, ‘Sound Waves’.
Kylie says, “20 years of teaching children and I am still excited to go to work each day. It’s never felt like ‘work’ as I get to play music and be with children, the two things I love most. I get a buzz when I run into children I have taught many years ago and hear that they have continued their musical journey or when I run into parents and they tell me what wonderful memories they have. Many of them say they made life long friends through the classes. I love that our classes teach children to love music and nurture confidence and also help support families in developing connections within the community.”
“Kylie is such a wonderful teacher and musician. I have experienced Kylie’s passion and expertise as both a parent of my daughter and also singing together for over 10 years. A true professional, who cares about her students and someone who I can only recommend in the highest terms. 🐝” – Philippa Young
“Kylie has taught my oldest for the past three years and now my youngest who started this year. She is a great teacher and both my girls love going to her classes.” – Natasha Kreecher
“Kylie taught my 2 kids for about 5 years and all that they learnt comes through in there school work and their love for music. I recommend Kylie regularly to parents. Thanks again Kylie.” – Sarah Walton
“My daughter Emma had been going to Mini Maestros with Kylie since she was 8 months old. She loves it and has learned so much!” – Jacqui Turner
