David loves music and trained from an early age with AMEB piano and theory. He chose as much music as he could at school and was involved in bands and choirs. This led to him completing a Diploma of Music teaching, a Bachelor of Arts (contemporary music) and a Master in Recording Arts.
David has been teaching music both privately and in schools since 2001 in Sydney. He loves the strong musical education standards in the Mini Maestros program and sees the benefits of this for children whether they continue in formal musical training or not. And it’s presented in a very fun way so parents with no musical background will be able to join in too.
Now a dad, he sees the way music is a natural and fun part of life, and loves seeing children discover the joy of music.
