The buzz…
Meet The Franchisees - Louise Reeder owner/operator of the Glen Waverley Franchise
Louise Reeder is the owner/operator of the Glen Waverley franchise. We asked Louise a few questions so you can get to know her better and this is what she had to say.
Question 1: Assuming you already have food and water, what 3 things would you take to a deserted island?
1) My favourite book to read – it would either be Peter Pan or Notre Dame de Paris.
2) My keyboard so I could still play and learn.
3) Something that I could listen to music on, like my phone or iPod.
Question 2: Who is your favourite band/musician at the moment?
I am about all things musical theatre! If I’m listening to music, I’m more than likely listening to a soundtrack from a show.
Question 3: What superpower would you like to have and why?
Oooh, probably flying. It would be so cool to be able to zoom around in the sky whenever you wanted!
Question 4: What are 3 pieces of advice you would give to a child as they embark on their life’s journey?
1) Be kind. It’s something the world will always need, and something you can always give.
2) Be brave. Take chances, and step outside of your comfort zone. You need to be your own biggest cheerleader and go for what you want.
3) Be you. You are enough, just as you are. How you show up in this world is so enough. I believe that everyone is “perfectly imperfect” in their own way – which means we have nothing to prove, only to share. xx
Question 5: What’s the best thing about being a Mini Maestros Franchisee?
I mean, who wouldn’t love getting to sing and dance every day as a job?! But it’s also getting to know the families that come through my doors, and learning and growing with them. There’s something very special about getting to witness and share little ones experiencing, learning, and loving music.
Plus, I’ve been told many times that my humour is like that of a 4 year olds – so we get along well!
