  • ... it really was one of the best choices I have made for Joel. He so loves the class and all the activities... We sing the songs at home, especially ten little speckled frogs (!) and some of his fave books at home are the ones that have a singing component and he sings along. We also play "band" and pull out all his instruments and we swap and play them. He is truly developing a love for music, in no small part due to Mini Maestros! I also love that he will have an understanding and appreciation for music that I never had despite loving listening to it.

The added bonus is that he has met such lovely little friends (they have taken to playing afterwards) and the mums in that Friday group are terrific. It really is a highlight of our week :)

I am trying to enrol him is a little soccer group and they offered me a Friday and I said I couldn't possibly do a Friday! I already have the best commitment in the whole world!!

  • We were recommended by our Speech Therapist to enrol Charlize into a music group to help with confidence in speaking/singing, and to assist in volume and pitch control with her voice. Her improvement in words and letter pronunciation has come a long way with the help of Mini Maestros. The small groups give her confidence to learn different sounds and project her voice clearly. Thank you.

  • Alexander has an opportunity to gain an understanding of music, instruments, singing, dancing, stories and much more from his instructor in a focused session. He also can interact with other children that are a similar age.

  • Reahn often asks to take either her Mini Maestros song books or various props (ducks, bees, binoculars, etc) to bed. She often plays with the props until they start to fall apart.

  • Mini Maestros has blossomed my 3 year old boy. Newly diagnosed ASD our Pead recommended Mini Maestros to help develop my son's confidence, social and interactive skills. I called and was signed up immediately so we could start the next morning. Maddie (The Maestro) opened the door for us and welcomed my son by name. After the first (disaster as expected) sessions Maddie called me the next day to ask how best she can help. She sent emails every week, updating me on what songs and actions were to come so I could practice at home.
She subtly incorporated subject that my son was fascinated with and even made a video on my phone praising him so on how well he's doing.
He is honestly a different little boy - and Mini Maestros has had as much if not more of an impact on my son's development than all the ASD therapies. Thank you so much.

  • Mini Maestros is very interactive, colourful, loads of fun and celebrates life.

  • It gives Alex an opportunity to play different instruments and concentrate for periods of time and obey instructions. All with a sense of fun, play and rhythm to music.

  • My daughters and I have thoroughly enjoyed the Mini Maestros program over the last 6 years. It has given them such a solid foundation for lifelong learning. Fiona (Dingley) and Kate (Rowville) are amazing teachers, always engaging and fun! They have taught us so much more than just music! Thanks to Mini Maestros, my eldest daughter has gone on to learn piano and can even read music at just 6 years of age! Kate has done a spectacular job with my 2nd daughter this year teaching her chime bars and music theory and I am somewhat sad that her time with Mini Maestros is finishing already. I am however looking forward to starting (again) the journey with my son next year. I highly recommend Mini Maestros to everyone... Its the best gift a parent can give to their child!

  • I think the class is wonderful not just for the great way it teaches musical appreciation but for all the other aspects such as sharing, following instructions etc. Thank you for your enthusiasm and for the wonderful way you care for the children.

  • Mini Maestros is fantastic! Kylie in Mt Eliza is awesome, my daughter loves her weekly sessions and loves to take her musical instruments and be up the front with Kylie!! Great for the kids, they do a great variety of singing, dancing and instruments.

  • I have been attending Mini Maestros sessions in Rowville with Kate for 5 years. First with my son and now with my daughter. We love it! Kate is professional and fun and caring with the children (and parents). The educational benefits I have seen in both my children are fantastic - social skills, independence skills, musical literacy, performance skills, gross motor and fine motor skills, the list goes on. Thank you Kate for your hard work and dedication.

  • Our daughter loves Mini Maestros, she gets very excited in the mornings on the way there singing the songs (with a little encouragement from Daddy!) Vanessa is fantastic as a teacher, and I get a lot out of it too, seeing my daughter develop over the weeks is hugely encouraging and rewarding.

  • My son has been doing Mini Maestros classes for nearly 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. The classes are getting more and more intricate as he gets older and the structure is great. He is learning so much in an incredibly fun way, we couldn't be happier.

  • I've been taking my son (now 3) to the Glen Waverley/Mount Waverley sessions for a few terms. I believe that the way Simone (instructor) interact with each child individually and the different learning activities are beneficial to my son's development. I especially like Simone's gentle way of encouraging children and teaching them lessons in a musical & playful way, like introduction to counting, colours and stories e.g. a funny song about the old lady who swallowed a fly. It may take a full term for a child to get used to the structure so give them time to adapt.

  • Thanks for all your support with Nathaniel. Mini Maestros has been the best program for him and his confidence and ability continues to soar. More than anything, he adores it and can't wait for Mondays.
